Our caregivers are thoroughly interviewed. In addition, all credentials, references and licenses are checked for accuracy. Caregivers are assigned to one of our clients after receiving a detailed orientation, after completing written tests and after receiving on-site classroom training & hands-on skills assessments.
In order to offer the best services available, our caregivers are required to attend our in-house, continuing education opportunities offered throughout the year.
Serene Home Nursing Agency will provide a pre-admission home health care assessment for each patient considering services with our agency. These pre-admission assessments are completed by a Registered Nurse. During this initial assessment, the nurse will discuss our home care services. Furthermore, the nurse will discuss how these services will fit into your lifestyle.
In addition, the nurse will conduct a physical assessment. The patient’s daily routines and preferences will be strongly considered, so that the patient can continue to live the way they are accustomed to. After this step is complete, our team of health care professionals will review this information and customize a plan of care that is right for you and your loved one.
