Meet Our Founder
Irene Manolias, RN — Founder & CEO
With more than 25 years of healthcare experience, Irene Maniolas, RN founded Serene Home Nursing Agency with a mission to provide compassionate, high-quality home care services throughout Long Island.
Known for her leadership, clinical expertise, and dedication to the community, Irene has built a trusted reputation as a healthcare professional and advocate for children and individuals with disabilities. She has organized fundraising initiatives and provided scholarships and awards to students and healthcare professionals who demonstrate leadership and community involvement.
From 2005 to 2016, Irene served as Director of Health Services for the Testaverde Foundation, supporting individuals with paralysis through access to essential equipment, services, and emotional support. She has also trained hundreds of nurses in advanced neurological techniques to help improve patient outcomes.
Her work has earned multiple recognitions, including the Platinum Professional Award for Outstanding Leadership in Healthcare (2014), Dan’s Papers Power List (2021), and the Schneps Media Healthcare Heroes Award (2021).
Today, Irene continues to oversee the care of pediatric, adult, and senior patients across Long Island while remaining deeply committed to delivering exceptional home care services to the community she has served throughout her career.
